Overview
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) wanted to utilize social media to drive
awareness of its summer stay-and-earn program, Hit It Big. So, we developed a
six-week mobile check-in program that used bounceback messaging to incentivize
return visits and, in turn, create brand loyalists.
To execute the program, we brought in two of our location-based partners,
Gowalla and PlacePunch, and successfully amplified the reach and impact of
their Hit It Big summer promotion.
